Charlotte Schieler advises international companies and start-ups in data protection law. The lawyer focuses on the consultation of enterprises from the e-commerce sector. Charlotte Schieler supports her clients in the introduction and implementation of data protection concepts within the framework of their digital business models, such as the development of big data concepts, structuring data flows and cross-media communication, and accompanies data protection audits. A further focus of her work is advising on various digital advertising formats and the associated advertising tools, often on the edge of competition law. In addition, she advises her clients on data protection concepts for security systems (including video surveillance). Furthermore, Charlotte Schieler represents her clients in complaints or legal proceedings before the relevant supervisory authorities.

In her function as data protection consultant for the law firm subsidiary ISiCO Datenschutz GmbH, she also acts as external data protection officer. She advises her clients comprehensively on all issues relating to data protection law. In addition to the implementation of various GDPR topics, Mrs. Schieler advises in particular on issues relating to employee data protection and supports her clients in the context of authority proceedings.
