Kathrin Schürmann is a founding partner of the technology law firm Schürmann Rosenthal Dreyer Rechtsanwälte and specialises in IT, data protection and competition law.

She has particular expertise in advising companies in the areas of digital business, technology and media. In her capacity as a privacy expert, she mainly advises national and international clients on the introduction and development of new (digital) business models. She also advises companies on the development of big data concepts, AI-based technologies, mobile/online marketing, business intelligence concepts and legal support for new technologies. Having spent many years building up strong relationships with her clients, Kathrin Schürmann has in-depth industry knowledge in the areas of internet and e-commerce, pharmaceuticals and health, customer loyalty schemes, aviation, publishing and the automotive industry.
