Dr Jan Scharfenberg, LL.M. (Stellenbosch), has been a lawyer at Schürmann Rosenthal Dreyer Rechtsanwälte since 2024. He has extensive expertise in information security law and antitrust law. His specialities include drafting IT law contracts and conducting IT and data protection audits. Dr Scharfenberg offers tailor-made solutions for our clients, with a strong understanding of risk management and platform regulation. Dr Scharfenberg studied law at the University of Potsdam and completed his second state law examination at the Potsdam Regional Court with a legal clerkship in Brussels. This was followed by a Master of Laws (LL.M.) at the University of Stellenbosch, South Africa. In 2014, he received his doctorate in international law from the University of Potsdam.
